Martin Architectural continues to make a name for itself in the world of indoor and outdoor architectural illumination with a number of new products and product variants. At this year's LDI exhibition Martin Architectural will be showing new versions of its popular Cyclo and Alien series of indoor color changers; an addition to its well-proven Exterior 200 outdoor color changers; a new high quality image projector and a handy software configurator.
The Exterior 200 Long Barrel is a new addition to the 150W Exterior color changer family offering narrow beam options for long throw possibilities and greater flexibility. The new options mean that field angle possibilities for the Exterior 200 now range from a very narrow 12° beam to a very wide 70° flood with 6 different steps to choose from.
The Alien 05 Stem Mount is a new variant of the programmable 50W color changer. Designed as a surface mounted fixture with a die cast aluminum casing, it features eight replaceable color options and is available in two stem lengths - 150mm and 600mm. Its tiltable head is easy to aim and can be locked in position. A longer throw, narrow beam lens is available as an option. The Stem Mount is suited to background washlighting in retail, restaurants, bars, and other low ambient light applications. Also, the Alien 05 and Alien 05 Stem Mount are now available in a white finish for white ceiling environments.
The color-changing 150W Alien 02 Pendant is a new variant of the Alien 02 Spot and features full-range color mixing and intensity control. The illumination head is fitted at the end of a flexible extension arm and the tilt angle of the fixture can be adjusted in two separate places, offering flexibility in both appearance and functionality.
The Imager is a high power, high resolution programmable projector housed in a beautiful architectural form and designed for dynamic projection of patterns, images, logos and naturalistic effects. It is available as either a single image projector or in a four-image version, with a click-on moving mirror option for roving logos or messages. Its 250W discharge lamp makes it suitable for cutting through the high ambient light levels typically found in retail.
Known as the Multi Utility Manager, MUM is a handy software configurator that supports Martin Architectural's line of outdoor products. By achieving two-way communication with the connected fixture, feedback like DMX address, real time clock settings, light level settings, programmed stand-alone settings, even failure messages are communicated in an easy to read format.
