Zero 88 at the Tournement Pub

Zero 88 will be showcasing a number of new products at PLASA, including the brand new moving light software for the Illusion 500 console, a new touch screen interface for the frog range and the latest Spice dimmers.
Following the restyling of the Illusion consoles at last years show, Zero 88 have been working closely with theatre lighting professionals globally to develop moving light software for this innovative console. PLASA 2003 will mark the launch of this software. Well established in the market as an easy to use console, the addition of moving light control enhances the Illusion's suitability for use in a wide variety of applications from Theatre to TV to Live events.Key features include 512 DMX Channels patchable to dimmers, moving lights, scrollers and more as well as easy to use programming tools, palettes, effects engine and Cueline..
The Frog range has been enhanced for use in applications where remote playback of cues is required. Using a simple touch screen it is possible to access memories and play them back, edit memory names, change cue times and triggers. The touch screen is connected to the Frog Box using a Can network connection. This ensures easy and reliable two-way communication. It is possible to use more than one screen on the network. This product allows the Frog Box to be used as an architectural controller in restaurants, clubs or themed environments.
The Spice 1210 is the latest rack mounting dimmer from Zero 88. It has been designed to be easy to use, reliable and affordable. It is available either Harting or Socapex connectors and has a mains incoming cable with CEE17 32A connector. The units feature the intuitive user interface from the Chilli installation range to allow for ease of use in setting up and operating the dimmer. The spice range provides a host of sophisticated features suitable for professional applications, including12 Channels, 12 Memories AND Chases. Dimmer Curves are normal, linear, switch or square. Further features include channel voltage compensation calculated for each phase, dimmer lock out function, voltage and frequency displays, supply frequency 45 to 70Hz auto-sensing and auto- tracking and dual fan cooling.

Dealer Awards

Continuing with tradition, Zero 88 will be using PLASA to recognise the achievements of their dealers over the last year by presenting their annual Dealer Awards during the show. These awards are presented to companies who have consistently developed and supported the Zero 88 brand over the last 12 months and are split into the following categories;
-UK Dealer of the Yea
-UK Independent Dealer of the Year
-Overseas Dealer of the Year

External displays

Following the success of last years format, Zero 88 will be hosting separate product display in the Tournement Pub on Brompton Road again this year. This display will be open during show hours and will provide new product demonstrations, training sessions and refreshments.
