C21 series dimmer racks win Product of the Year award

Launched earlier in 2005 and appearing at PLASA and LDI for the first time was the latest dimming product from Strand Lighting, the C21 series dimmer racks which was recognized as the Product of the Year for LDI 2005. Before a standing room only crowd Tim Burnham, President of Strand Lighting, accepted the award on Saturday evening at the LDI.
The new racks support a wide range of dimmers including Quad 2.5kW, Dual 3kW and 5kW and single 10kW thyristor dimmers. There are also dual 3kW and 5kW Sinewave modules and each features a fully symmetrical Sinewave output with less than 1% Harmonic distortion. Sinewave dimmers may be mixed and matched with standard dimmers in the same rack for complete flexibility.
Portable dimmer users will appreciate the new 3Pack and 6Pack dimmer products that feature 6 10 amp or 3 25 amp dimmers in a compact rack or wall mounting package. The 6 dimmer pack features a range of dual output sockets including Schuko, CEE17 and UK15A connectors. All dimmers feature MCB (SPN) protection and are convection cooled for quiet operation. A DMX input with patching is standard on each pack.
OneLight Par by Strand LightingVisitors to the Strand stand at LDI will also be able to experience the latest 2.9.14 console software for Strand's 300 and 500 series desks that feature a number of enhancements to reduce set up and programming time and offer support for the latest in moving lights. Also on show are the popular 100 and 200 series desks.
Strand Lighting also announce the extension of their OneLight Par and OneLight Fresnel range. At Plasa 2005 Strand introduced the new 1200 watt MSR daylight luminaires. Like the 575 watt units introduced last year the new lights feature a quiet fully integrated high frequency electronic ballast designed with ClearArc technology for maximum useful lamp life and performance. The new lights support an optional DMX control module.
