RCF launches AX 8042 automixer and ZX 8060 zoner at ISE

RCF releases the new AX 8042 and ZX 8060 digital matrix mixers at ISE 2013 show in Amsterdam. These are two highly versatile devices, designed on a powerful DSP platform using advanced electronics, which are dedicated for install sound and commercial audio applications.
Features of the AX 8042 include eight universal Mic/Line inputs with selectable 48V phantom power and six outputs, where four are balanced and included in the audio matrix, while the two remaining can be separately processed and combined to any of the previous four. The considerable processing power available enables many audio parameters to be set, such as parametric equalisers, gates, compressors, limiters, delays, ducking, priorities, Automatic Level and Gain Control, levels and gains on cross-points, auto-mixer functions and filters.
AX 8042 is able to receive ten logic inputs and send six logic outputs, all of them programmable. There is also the possibility to link two AX 8042 devices and create a 16-input /12 output matrix.
The AX 8042 can be configured from a PC, linked through its frontal USB port, or through a pluggable RD-Net system control interface module.
A serial control port, available on the rear panel, can be set to work with several RCF TS 9918 programmable touch sensitive flat remote controls, or with a third party control system (e.g. Crestron and AMX)

The ZX 8060 has eight universal Mic/Line inputs with selectable 48V phantom power on detachable Euroblock connectors — all included in the audio matrix and separately processed. A number of audio parameters can be set, such as parametric equalizers, gates, compressors, limiters, delays, duckers, priorities, Automatic Level and Gain Control, levels and gains on cross-points and filters.
Two inputs can be set as noise detection microphone inputs: the noise detected is used to automatically adjust the volume independently in two zones (or group of zones) of the audio system, according to the user configuration, in order to keep constant the signal to noise ratio and the sound intelligibility. A full set of room-combining, routing and paging features are easily accessible.
ZX 8060 is able to receive ten logic inputs and send six logic outputs, two of which are supported by relay. Both logic inputs and outputs are available on detachable Euroblock terminals and are fully configurable together with all other parameters using the control software installed on a PC, linked by the front USB connector.

The serial control port available on a detachable Euroblock terminal on the rear panel can be set to work with the RCF TS 9918 programmable touch sensitive flat remote control, or with third-party systems.
In addition, up to eight TS 9918 remotes can be connected to the ZX 8060 and up to 12 paging microphones model BM 3003 can be daisy-chained to the dedicated RJ 45 connector.
