|The 10th Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show saw Yamaha Music Europe showing a full range of products for the installed audio market. Making its first appearance in Europe, the CIS series is a range designed specifically with ease of installation and use in mind. The CIS series has been devised to provide a complete system solution for situations where there isn’t an experienced audio operator available to manage it - for example in restaurants, retail outlets, transport hubs, public buildings, convention centres and function rooms.
The first CIS series products include the MTX matrix processors, XMV multi-channel amplifiers, VXC ceiling speakers and VXS surface mount speakers. Using Dante technology and Yamaha’s YDIF cascade bus, users will be able to conveniently share audio and connect with all Yamaha CIS products, as well as other professional audio products on a digital audio network.
Loudspeakers included the DSR, DXR and DXS series as well as the ever-popular Installation Series models.
Mixing consoles range from the 2u rackmount IMX644 through to O1V96i digital mixers, including the compact MGP range which makes optimum use of both digital and analogue technologies. Yamaha’s extensive range of high quality power amplifiers was fully represented.
Active Field Control system (AFC) is an acoustic conditioning system, which transparently adjusts and enhances the acoustic characteristics of a space, while preserving its natural features. The versatile system enables the same venue to generate a different ambience for different types of performance and also to enhance areas which may suffer from acoustic deficiencies - for example adding a sense of ‘spaciousness’ to under balcony or stage areas, so that all audience members and performers can enjoy the same sense of connection to the music and a greater shared experience.
