Radian at InfoComm 2008

Radian Audio Engineering is launching the company’s new Professional Installation Series of speakers with the RC-500 two-way speaker system at InfoComm 2008. A small enclosure with a big sound, the new RC-500 -- which is manufactured entirely in the U.S. -- has been designed for demanding church, theatre, restaurant and home theatre applications and bridges the gap between quality and price.
Radian Audio will launch the company’s new Professional Installation Series at InfoComm 08 in Las Vegas, booth C5156 with the introduction of the RC-500. Housing a 5.25" woofer and a 0.5" tweeter the RC-500 is designed with a performance that belies its compact dimensions, with a power handling capability of 10 to 80W across a frequency range of 80 Hz to 19kHz. Nominal sensitivity is 90 dB SPL (1W @ 1m).
The high impact polystyrene enclosure measures 8.26“ x 7.48” x 11.2” (210 x 190 x 286 mm) and is weather resistant for outdoor or indoor applications. It weighs 6 lb (2.73 kg). The RC-500 ships with a steel swivel U-bracket that allows easy vertical or horizontal mounting on walls, ceilings, corners and other locations.
For both commercial and residential applications the RC-500 features adjustable 70/100-Volt variable wattage taps (70V: 15, 7.5, 2.5 or 1.25 Watts; 100V: 15, 7.5. 5 or 2.5 Watts), and additionally offers an option for 8 Ohm through.
