DirectOut launches Anna-Lisa handheld MADI Analyzer

Following its debut at the 2014 IBC show in Amsterdam, DirectOut Technologies takes Anna-Lisa to PLASA 2014, London, UK, stand B02, and to 137th AES, Los Angeles, booth 1229. A small, handheld MADI analyser and signal generator equipped with BNC and SFP MADI I/Os it provides straightforward, immediate analysis of any MADI input. In total, DirectOut demoed four new MADI products at ibc which all will be on show at PLASA and AES, too.
Anna-Lisa is a handheld MADI analyser and signal generator providing quick-check indicators for signal condition, input level and jitter. More detailed information, such as protocol and user bit checks, is accessible through an external application via USB and Bluetooth. The integrated signal generator makes ANNA-LISA a convenient, all-round tool for any MADI environment. The device is powered by an integrated battery and chargeable via USB.

Kyra is a four source MADI monitor mixer for MADI monitoring and line checking. Four stereo or eight mono channels can be summed to front panel or external speakers or a headphone output. Space saving Kyra fits a 1U slot.
Ma2chbox.XL is a reference class headphone and MADI monitor controller. There are three MADI ports; SC fibre, BNC and SFP and the AES3 input can be routed independently to either headphones, AES output or line out. Ma2chbox.XL also incorporates a 194 x 194 USB controlled audio router.
Montone.42, a 1U MADI to Ravenna audio-over-IP bridge, offers seamless integration between MADI and networked audio-over-IP devices. Based on the Ravenna network protocol and MADI, it serves as a versatile link for broadcast, live and studio applications.
